grow fast! Children grow so quickly from the last
time they are measured, so before you order, take
a few minutes and use our handy size reference to
determine the correct size for your child.
Waist:
Stand normally, position hands below side hips. Measure
over underwear at the smallest part of waist. Keep
tape snug, not tight. Measure with a soft tape measure.
Length:
Please make sure you order the correct length too!
Measure from her waist (or where you'd like the tutu
to rest on hips) and drop the tape straight down.
Take that number and use it to order the correct length.
Our prissy and poofy tutus do poof up, so they may
appear shorter than they really are. Please keep this
in mind when ordering. For example, since our Prissy tutu is 6 inches long and and our Poofy tutu is 8 inches long, they will not likely cover older girl's bottoms. These lengths are generally not recommended for our 7/8/10 waist sizes and larger, unless this is the look you are trying to achieve. Tutu Girl is not responsible for this if you order incorrectly as all our items are custom, made to order.

ALL
WAISTBANDS ARE MEASURED ACCORDING TO THE UNSTRETCHED
SIZE TO ALLOW FOR GROWTH. For example, if you order
3T-6, you will receive a tutu that has a waistband
circumference of 20" UNSTRETCHED. It will stretch
a couple of inches to allow for growth. If you find her to be in between our sizes, then contact us and we'll tell you what size to order. Generally we will have you order up a size and provide us with her waistline in inches. If you order the smaller of the two sizes and simply make a note that you want a waistline larger that you actually order, even with the note we will NOT be able to accomodate the request. Custom tutus are our speciality!

please provide us with a chest measurement (under
the arms) and a length measurement (armpit to knee).
Tutu Girl is NOT responsible for measurements that
are not accurate (whether you order a pre-determined
size or custom size) and cannot issue a refund or
exchange due to incorrect measurements.
Our
tutus dresses are designed to fit tea length to fall
mid calf. The chart shown above is general size chart.
Please request a custom order price for full length
or for sizes larger than shown.
How to measure for our tutu dresses: Ordering is simple! You’ll
just need two measurements - her chest size and length. Please see below how to
obtain each measurement. If you find she doesn't fit into a certain length,you
would normally order by chest size but please contact us and we’ll tell
you which size to order if you are uncertain which size to select. We custom create
all our tutu dresses for the perfect fit!
How To Measure for the Chest Size: Measure all the way around
the largest part of her chest. Please refer to our sizing guide to pick the
correct size. Give us that number in inches if you’re uncertain what chest
size to order. Please note: the measurement is best obtained by using a soft
tape or you can use a piece of yarn or ribbon, then carefully measure the dimensions
with a measuring tape.
How To Measure for the Perfect Length: Measure from her armpit
down to the desired length at her legs. Please refer to our sizing guide to
pick the correct size. Give us that number in inches if you’re uncertain
what length to order.
