How To Dress for Valentine’s Day – Using a Tutu

Posted by on 12/10/2012
Since Valentine’s Day is all about love, why not show her some love and dress her in a cute little Valentine’s Day tutu outfit this February 14th. Whether she’s at school delivering special Valentine’s to her friends or at home with mom, there’s no reason why she can’t get dressed head to toe for this special day. You don’t need to go out and buy anything special, but if you want to get a few fun inexpensive pieces, we have some great ideas. Traditionally Valentine’s Day colors are red and pink. We love these iconic colors too and but are certainly in favor of adding a dash of whimsy to her holiday look. We have some cute ideas in our boutique that will make her feel so pretty and gushing with love!

Valentine's Day Clothes for GirlsPink and Red Tutu Outfit: Nothing says Valentine’s Day like PINK and RED! We offer the cutest selection of pink and red tutus, some with rhinestones, some simple and understated, and some with ribbons and bows. Start with a Valentine’s Day tutu of your choice (we recommend pink and/or red) that she can wear over some heart-print leggings, red or pink tights or skinny jeans. She can wear a red or pink top that she already owns or a special Valentine’s Day tee shirt for school or for a play date for added charm. Add a matching tulle hair bow or headband to complete the look.

heart clothing for Valentines DayHearts: Valentine’s Day is synonymous with hearts. We offer adorable tops with bling hearts and embroidered hearts that can feature your daughter’s name. Add a pretty pink or red tutu skirt and leg warmers with heart prints for a touch of romance!

Valentine's Day Tutus for BabiesValentine’s Day for Babies: You’ll want your baby girl comfortable but stylish too for Valentine’s. Cupid would certainly agree that our onesie tutus are the go-to choice for her holiday outfit. The foundation of this outfit is a soft onesie (oh so comfy against baby’s skin). A ruffled red tutu around the waistline is what gives this look that Valentine’s Day charm. Add some red leg warmers and a red bowband and she’ll be ready for loads of kisses and snuggles with her loved ones.

Valentine’s Day Dresses: Our tutu dresses are hot sellers. You can even design your own for your little sweetie this holiday season. Start with a pink tank as the foundation, and add a pink ruffled tutu. You can even add a fun saying to the bodice like, “Be Mine,” or “My First Valentine’s Day.” These little dresses make photo sessions extra special. Add a matching hair bow and she’ll be cute as a button!

What if she doesn’t want to stick to the traditional red and pink colors? No problem at all! A nice solution would be to start with a pink or red tutu and add another color for a touch of sass that showcases her unique personality. Most of all, this holiday is all about LOVE so no matter how she dresses, she will be loved by her family.
